With sun-ripened California raisons, delicious pineapple, crunchy Georgia pecans, plump cherries, walnuts and almonds, tangy lemon and orange peel, blended into a rich pound cake batter and baked to a golden brown.
This is the Dark recipe, that contains the same high fruit-and-nut content, but has more molasses, spices and natural, sun-dried raisins which give the “Dark” cakes their distinctive, darker color.
