Each elegant Miyabi Koh knife is crafted in Seki, Japan. There, Miyabi artisans merge rich Japanese tradition with expert German engineering and state-of-the-art steels to produce these ultimate kitchen knives. Thanks to an innovative, ice-hardened process, Miyabi's FRIODURx2 blades offer a full tang, exceptional hardness, remarkable durability, and scalpel-like sharpness. The authentic and traditionally thin blades are finished with a with a Japanese 9-12° blade angle, and a true katana edge - an homage to the samurai swords made in Seki, Japan, centuries ago. The octagon-shaped Pakka wood handle echoes those favored in Japan, and supports both Western chopping and Asian rocking cuts.  Stylishly stamped with a signature silver mosaic pin, each handle is individually weight-tested to ensure ergonomic perfection in design.
