- Smooth and delicious whole-grained mustard.
- Served at the tables of French kings since 1632.
- All natural, nothing artificial.
- Imported from France.
Sharp, grainy, and a with a slight nutty flavor, this mustard from France is of very high quality (some would argue the best in the world) and elevates your vinaigrettes, cold meats, sandwiches, cheeses, or charcuterie board.
Produced in Meaux, France, outside of Paris by the Pommery family, the mustard still uses an original recipe from 1760, and it's ingredients are carefully selected for their distinctive qualities which gives the product a quality that many people have tried to imitate. Meaux mustards are similar in style to those of Dijon, except for the use of vinegar, whereas verjus or white wine is used in the preparation of Dijon.
This mustard is packaged in a recognizable and exclusive stoneware crock, and sealed with a plastic top for the American market.
This is the standard 8.8 oz jar.
