BMDC is a blend of 3- and 2-year old Méthode Traditionnelle (MT) beer (e.g., Lambic-inspired spontaneous beer) from Primitive Beer macerated on whole organic raspberries with 1-yr MT beer from Wild Provisions.
The idea for this collaboration stems from fond memories of Belgium. Among the experiences within the Pajottenland and Senne River Valley that continue to reverberate in our collective mindset, we have a specific recollection of fresh raspberry Lambic served from the tank at De Cam Geuzestekerij as well as framboise blended by Brasserie Cantillon and served tranquil from a beer engine at Moeder Lambic in Brussels. A couple of our favorite experiences with Lambic matured on raspberries continue to stand out and motivated our blend.
