How to Get It
Duration was open fermented in autumn of 2020 and aged in oak barrels for a year. After bottling, the beer conditioned for half a year more. A chorus of lager yeast, lactobacillus, and brettanomyces create a harmonized tapestry of flavor, woven with threads of bright acidity, cellar musk, and ripened fruits. The foundation of high kiln and gently caramelized craft malt from Virginia grain remains throughout, elevating the finished beer with a restrained impression of sweetness and malt complexity. All in balance. An embrace of patience in production, it’s offered for your enjoyment now. And later. We expect this beer will continue on its path, further developing its character for the duration.
